John Barlow

John is an architectural graduate of Cal Poly Pomona who further refined his design perspective through a year of immersive design studios in Florence, Italy. This international experience helped shape his appreciation for timeless architecture, spatial composition, and the relationship between built environments and the surrounding landscape.

Drawn to interdisciplinary design, John transitioned into the landscape design-build industry, where he combines architectural thinking with outdoor living design. His work focuses on creating cohesive environments where structures, hardscape, planting, and water features come together to form functional and visually compelling outdoor spaces.

John is driven by a commitment to innovation, craftsmanship, and thoughtful design. He enjoys exploring how emerging technologies—particularly artificial intelligence—can enhance the design process, allowing for new levels of visualization, creativity, and efficiency in landscape planning.

Outside the studio, John finds inspiration in nature exploration and off-road adventure, experiences that continually influence his appreciation for natural landscapes and outdoor environments.
